Building Overview

Forces Remap Training Academy. The project is currently fund-raising. It has had an interest from business, industry, and television. We are working with several major YouTube influencers from the motoring world and will be launching a “buy a brick” campaign so that anybody can buy a virtual brick and virtually lay it on their own computer screen to keep it as a memento of the occasion.

CLT Construction Training

Malcolm Whitehead is the brains behind the Academy.

Malcom is raising funds to build a network of Academies to provide shelter, fellowship, support and skills training for the approximately 68,000 homeless Forces Veterans in our country. While staying in the Academy,

Veterans will learn to build sustainable and affordable housing for themselves and others using Modern Methods of Construction on courses that focus on practical skills and regulatory and business knowledge provided by a local college.

CAD controlled wood cutting machine

Malcolm is a trained joiner and has invented an ingenious low cost CAD controlled wood cutting machine. He is also a determined and focused campaigner on behalf of Forces Veterans.

3D printing machinery and software

Veterans will receive training on the latest woodworking, engineering, and 3D printing machinery and software. They will also be trained to use the latest augmented reality systems- to keep up with technological progress in industry.

The objective is to build on the skills and education provided by the Forces to open the door to employment in various industries- and in particular the construction industry- or establish their own businesses.
